Editorial policy

Hakui Career produces and publishes articles under the following policy.

1. Being useful for the reader’s decision comes first

We do not push any particular action, such as changing jobs or registering with a service. We lay out the options, including doing nothing. Every article describes drawbacks and points to check, not only benefits.

2. Separating facts from opinions

  • Facts such as statistics and legal systems are stated only when we have verified the source, and we show the source and the date consulted
  • Personal accounts and cases are published only when based on fact. We do not publish invented stories

3. No exaggerated claims

We do not use guarantees or absolute statements such as “always”, “never fails” or “anyone can succeed”.

4. Keeping articles current

Every article shows its publication and last update dates. When a system or condition changes, we update or annotate the article.

5. Relationship with advertising

How we handle articles that contain advertising is set out in our advertising policy. Our editorial principle is that advertising does not influence an article’s assessments or conclusions.
